I am a researcher, writer and photographer currently based near London, but with a strong interest in Azerbaijan, the South Caucasus, and the wider CIS region. Between 2014 and 2022 I was based in Baku, working as a magazine editor and content writer while travelling and photographing extensively in my spare time. I have a BA (Hons) in French and Russian from the University of Bristol and an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the London College of Communication. I love exploring new places, particularly through street photography, where I am drawn to striking light, colour and candid fleeting moments.
